The layout follows a flowing, curved design incorporating fixed seating with an open central area. The construction comprises a well-prepared and compacted sub-base, finished with a permeable resin aggregate surface. This provides a smooth, seamless, and non-slip finish, suitable for all-weather use while allowing for effective drainage and low maintenance.
The perimeter of the area is defined using granite set edging, installed to create a strong, high-quality boundary between the resin surface and adjoining grassed areas. The granite sets are laid to follow the curved geometry of the design, bedded and haunched in concrete to ensure durability, edge restraint, and long-term stability.
A curved precast concrete seating arrangement has been installed on concrete foundations, providing structured seating for group use. The central area includes decorative sculptural elements to enhance the space visually and encourage engagement.
